If I am sharing Bible passages here on social media, it’s not because I am better or more knowledgeable than you are. And many of you are dear to my heart, even those I hardly know, and I sincerely care about your spiritual destiny because God cares about your spiritual destiny. All these crazy things going on in the world right now? They’ve been foretold in the Bible and they were written to give us hope in a sovereign God, not cause us to tremble in fear.
There are really only two choices — believe in Jesus Christ as God and Savior, or reject His deity and sacrifice for you. Only you can make this decision for yourself. And you can only make this choice while you are alive on earth. There are so many deceptive teachings circulating in this technology-hyped and expert-focused world, and what you choose to believe will determine your eternal destiny. Human intelligence does not compare with the knowledge and wisdom of God as revealed in Scripture.
I don’t care if you think I’m nuts, or a Jesus fanatic. In the end, if you disagree with me, one of us will be proven wrong. I believe it won’t be me, and my confidence comes from Scripture and the Holy Spirit, not of my own wisdom. Forgive me if I come across as arrogant. That is not my intention. I am just like everyone else — a sinner who needs restoration and saved by grace.
All men have missed the mark when it comes to meeting God’s standard. That’s what we call sin. All people without Jesus are spiritually dead and destined to eternal condemnation. Our loving God does not want that, so He sent Jesus to restore us to Himself. Those repetitive rituals we do to be “cleansed” of sin? They’re useless attempts. They don’t set us right with God. When Jesus (who is without sin) died, He died in our place. When He rose again from death, Jesus triumphed over the death penalty of sin. One only needs to believe in Jesus as God, accept this sacrificial gift to be cleansed of all sin, and receive eternal life. No need for repetitive rituals. He died once and for all. Proclaim Him as God. Proclaim Him as Savior. That’s the good news of the gospel. It’s the only way we are set right with God, not of our own doing. There is only one way to God. There are not many paths to Him. It is not about religion.
There’s so much more to study and share, so find a church that teaches that Jesus is God, using the Bible as it is — no additions, no subtractions, giving priority to truths of Scripture over philosophy and psychology, not influenced by political leanings, and not overtaken by skepticism, faulty “science” and cultural trends. Study the Bible for yourself and consider joining a Bible Study group.
BIBLICAL REFERENCES (NKJV):
Matthew 24:3-8
“Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
Romans 3:23
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 6:23
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord..”
Romans 10:9-10
“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
John 3:16-18
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
John 14:6
“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’”
Proverbs 1:7
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
Romans 1:18-23
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.”
John 16:13
“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”
